The client had the option to connect to the mains but the costs, permitting time, and access permits proved prohibitive. As the plant was to be located quite close to the building the client also wanted a plant without noise and with minimum maintenance. It was also planned to discharge to a nearby stream and required a high-quality final effluent.
Installation was carried out by the clients' contractor under the supervision of a BIOROCK engineer and was completed in less than 2 days.
